    Default F1 to NBC

    Didn't see this coming:
NBC Sports Group signed a four-year deal with Formula One for the exclusive U.S. media rights to the world's most popular global motorsports series.

The deal, which begins next season, will provide over 100 hours of programming across NBC and cable channel NBC Sports Network.
I hope they don't ditch all the Speed crew.

NBC now has F1, most of the Indycar schedule, and World Challenge. With Speed transitioning to a generic Fox cable sports net, I wonder if the merged ALMS/Grand Am series will make its way there, too?

Here's to hoping it works out like the ALMS move to ESPN. I thought that was going to suck but it hasn't been bad at all. Although I guess it ruined it for people that don't have access to ESPN3. I'm going to miss the F1 Debrief show.

I have mixed feelings about the ALMS/Grand Am merger. Hopefully they don't screw up how it's televised, among other things.

I hope they don't do that. I don't have access to ESPN3 and don't want to watch TV on my damned computer!

They've done well with Major League Soccer and World Challenge, so I'm hopeful.
