Hello,
I'm from PhillySCCA. I saw your website and the rookie of the year award. I was wondering how you determine rookie of the year. Thanks

Driver who does consistently well, possibly wins or such like. It is also voted among the BOD by using eligible candidates.

Welcome to our site, I plan to run with you guys at some point... always looking for newer hunting ground.

Well we will be running one more event this year at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD on 11-11-07. Info and reg on myautoevents.com. So Rookie of the year is somewhat of a popularity contest. R.O.Y. was discussed on our forums. And we were going to make it more like driver of year. My idea of ROY was closer to what you guys do.

rookie of the year is determined through a point system. a driver has to have x amount of events in one year and no more than x amount the previous year. i think we may even use a point system for place finishes, class wins etc.

perhaps another BOD memeber can give you a more precise answer.
