No thanks to Miro to almost (almost) going quicker than I did in my new car on a fun run! http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_bash.gif

Nice event everyone! Sorry I left early.

Fun course, BTW :f1:

Edit: I thought I did better than 17th lol. Today was an awesome day. I can't believe that there are two 4-cylinder turbo AWD cars at the top, even though the 'Vettes were ridiculously fast today. My goal was to beat the owner of the C6 Z06 and the guy in the Evo MR. I failed, but that only means that they did better than I had expected, which is always a good thing.

Great course Scott!!! Robbie, thanks for letting me drive your car on the 6th run, it is definitelly lot more composed and feels really nice. Can't wait til you get the alignment 100%... Chuck, wow! Great job today, the new tires seem to work well for you. Nate, look at you creep up the PAX points! Very cool!
As some of you know my brake master cylinder decided to take a vacation from its very important job, but what do you expect after 190,000 miles and big aftermarker brake calipers and rotors? heh (it will be apart today and fixed by Tuesday hopefully...glad toyota has a 1-day delivery service) At least now I know why I kept having issues during the August autocross...
Again, thanks to all who helped out today, I know the club picked up at least 3 or 4 bags of trash from the lot so that ought to get us a couple of brownie points... :f1:

Edit: 10 minutes later: The master cylinder is out of the car and is just simply worn out, nothing really broken, just worn out... it still held acceptable pressure for short stabs like the shorter transitions but any extended braking and the brake fluid just didn't want to stay between the seals in the ms...

Great course. Thanks for good work, Scott. I had fun even with my street
17" tires. Well that was it for me in STS Celica. Next year, look out for black GS car. See you all next weekend.... BTW John thanks for a fun run in your new Mazda. I like it a lot...

looks like it was fun. I should have gone. But last weekend when I was driving to annapolis to grab my falkens... my transmission line that runs into the radiator broke... and shot trans fluid all over the engine bay... so I never did make it to get my tires... So I figured I'd celebrate my bday by staying in morgantown :) i think im going to run in the airport event on my normal street tires

Many thanks to all who helped make this a great event (and NOT to the library folks who keep leaving that d*mn Taurus in the way - I was gonna use the 'ol library turn). Extra atta-boys to Dan Combs, for making 3 runs to RHS to move the trailer, even though he wasn't driving in the event!

Wow, was the lot a MESS - gotta love football season.

Thanks to JD and Jack for letting me "dance with their dates".
