I'd like to try something different than circle track racing. I was wondering if this clunker fits somewhere. The motor is stock, tranny is stock, rearend is stock, swapped 4 lug for 5 lug axles and rotors. Its sits a little lower than it used to also.

Most likely E/Mod, but potentially C/Prepared, depending on what was done to it, weight, etc.
FYI, the SCCA rule book is available online for free here (http://www.scca.org/_FileLibrary/File/2007SoloRules.pdf).

E/M likely...
Its cool to see circle track guys come out and play, one of the guys that runs up at Steel Cities has a circle track car and a dirt track car that he brings out at almost every event.
Hope to see you in August.

The car looks great, really hope to see you at the next event! It's always nice to see a different kind of car at our events. Cy made quite a splash with his Royale at the July event...thumbs up!

If the engine's stock then shouldn't it be in C/P?

Mini-stock ? Whatever prep or mod class the 2300cc engine fits in I think, I don't have a set of rules though. I if it's a V8 Cprep or Emod is probably where it should be. I think you can get the SCCA rules on their site.
