Talking to Jon about this right now. It's actually a lot closer to us than Parkersburg is. Cumberland's his hometown so he's familar with getting around if you need help getting somewhere. I'll let you know when he's decided...I think he might do it since he might know someone there.

Alicia,
Jon's really thinking about going. By the way the dates are June 2nd and 3rd which is a Saturday and Sunday. He's checking to see that he can get those days off from Circuit City. Hope to see you there!

June 1 is the Porsche Corvette Challenge, so unless you have a P car or a Vette its a no no.

June 2 and 3 is the regular autox, Cumberland is a fun wide open venue to run in.

I won't be there, I'll be at Summit Point that weekend.

Have fun!

I was gonna go but I am going to crew with sean again, the course is really open like sean said, similar to the pburg event last weekend but with a long slalom and more straight areas, you won't see very many good drivers, there is a lot of muscle there, about 10 cobra replicas and l0 vettes were there when i went may 5th, sadly the guys with all the power don't know how to use the gas pedal

I'm gonna try and pull this off...

Leave Summit at around 7AM Sunday morning, puts me at Cumberland at a little past 8.

Gotta talk to Johnny... since the race ends at midnight we might be running on very little sleep.

Joo need to ditch the J Person. :fight:

Lets do it, my car isn't gonna be ready for the track day.

I"ll load it up with goodies and we co-drive it, spank up some Porsches and Vettes.

I'll call ya tomorrow.

Hmm thinking...

Don't think Cumberland will work.

We'll be dead beat tired on Sunday, the race ends midnight and after impound, awards, late night bs, etc it'll be 3 or 4AM. By the time we wake up on Sunday it'll be noon.

I dunno about the race shop in Springfield this trip, maybe for the June MARRS race. We kinda need to get to Summit as soon as we can on Friday... I really wish I hadn't scheduled the inspection for my car on Friday.
