Ok, so I'm fairly new to this whole autox racing and to knowledge about cars in general. I'm trying to sign my husband up for the event on the 19th for his birthday gift and I'm not quite sure what class his car would be in. He has a Mazda '02 Protege'5 ATX. Current Mods: BF Goodrich Traction T/A 205/50-16, X3 Racing CAI, UR UnderDrivePulley, Roof Rails removed, Street Unit rings, and Eclipse CD 7000 w/ GPS area shot. Parts to be installed: Progressive Rear Sway bar, SLS front and side motor Mounts, and MX-6 rear Strut Bar...these are in the process of being installed and will be done before the event. Thanks for all your help.

I would think that STS would be the correct class for the car... I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong ...

Lucy,
I still think you should drive too! Troy and April are sharing a car.

STS sounds right to me, too.

I am thinking STS, but the motor mounts are throwing me off. Isn't there an exclusion clause on motor mounts?

Luke and Alica,
I'm thinking long and hard about it. I'm sure that it's more fun driving then watching.

Motor mounts were taboo earlier, but I think they're OK now, provided they have no more metal in them than stock (like the bushing rule).

Correction: April and I are sharing a car...there is still car sharing involved here. :)
