You need 700 + treadwear tires and 1 degree positive camber on the front and 1/4 in toe in all the way around. Then, I'll be ready for you in H/S.

You can have my RE92s if you want to and beside you only have one more month of dealing with the 1.8 in HS then off to alaska and sno-x

I had mine done at Eddy's Tire in Poca, and I think that's where Scott goes, too. They aligned it to my liking, even if it was a PITA.

how much was it if you don't mind me asking

It was 60 something, I think, which is quite a bit. I had my car aligned twice in the last year, so I am trying not to do any mods that require an alignment for a while lol.

He said that they charge you the same amount any time you put your car on the alignment rack, because they have to check all four wheels each time. Even if you have your camber already dialed in, they still have to check it in order to complete the process, so it always costs the same, I think.

I'm not sure on a B15 alignment - I never got one specifically for autox on my SE.

If you haven't already, ask (search first) over at B15Sentra.net. They'll have answers.

Use some strings as Marteen and I did for the monster Celi and the Challenge CRX.

Its not 100% accurate but its free.

how would you check camber with a string?

Camber gauge...

Marteen has Jason V's gauge.

A string alignment for toe settings (and thrust angle)is more than accurate enough for racing.. having some sort of camber gauge is nearly a must for camber changes though. camber for most of us is easy... loosen every suspension bolt you can find and try to wiggle as much camber as you can keeping things relatively even.... once you have camber bolts or plates you could perhaps go too far... my neon is about maxed out with bolts.

I use the string alignment method to get a base point (string a perfect box arround the car... measure with ruler).. then simple toe measurements from there... any camber changes mean re stringing the car... repeat many times untill you have the car dialed in... then take those spect to a shop for a finnal (its never finnal) alignment... if you want.

Yup. Koni makes adjustable strut inserts (front) and shocks (rear) for the B15 Sentra, although the rears have to be taken off the car to adjust them. Don't fear the fact that the fronts are inserts - I had them on my Sentra and have them on the Minivan(tm) without worry. Some people freak out about having to cut the struts open, tho'.

Having bought full-on Koni struts for the Neon, I'll gladly take the inserts and save some of the $$$.
