Cause of the smoking celica this weekend...

For those wondering why...

The PCV vent hose on the celi was collapsed and this caused higher presures in the crankcase not allowing the oil from the turbo to drain properly. This internal "back pressure" caused the oil to seep past the oil seals resulting in all the smoking...

I know, I know...Lowes is your friend....sometimes... :lol: I wanted a clear one so I can see what the pcv is throwing out...oh well...maybe I can find a clear thicker hose somewhere...

you should be able to find clear hose with an internal webbing of fiberglass to add strength... Try Lowes, grainger, napa ect...

I am not sure what the area is called but it's right past U-Haul past West side..almost by Sissonville (?)
They are an excellent store for different tools, parts and hardware, like a much better ACE Hardware maybe? I think they are not a retail store though... :?
