Okay, tires I bought to run with are rubbing a little on the inside. I had posted on the motorsports page at Nasioc.com about this and was told to use spacers and thought I would get your opinions on this. I would probably need 3mm on the front and 5mm in the back. I am running in SP class and was wondering is this okay for the class and moreover, is it safe to use spacers, even ones these small? Thanks for your help!

I don't think spacers are a problem in SP, since wheel size is free (except the tires can't stick out past the fenders, IIRC). No idea about safety, tho'.

Spacers are legal in sp... they are also safe as long as the lug nuts have plenty of thread engagement.. not enough and a wheel can fall off... I have seen it happen in person!! not a pretty sight!! If you need longer wheel studs they are available from a variety of sources.
