Looks like my g/f is finally able to get off work and join us again this coming weekend. She wants to drive the course a couple of times in my car, but not during the main event.
Assuming there are fun runs this event, would she be allowed to run the course even if she didnt participate for the main event? If so, what do we need to take care of so she can.
Thanks again.

i think i asked that before and was told you must have "participated" in the event to do fun runs..
i think they can sign the wavier and be a passenger... ??

Mike,
Unfortunatelly that's how it works. It's hard to bend the rules, especially with new drivers. It's a liability issue. She should run the whole event..
She can definitelly take ride-alongs with you...or me...

I say she should run the whole event!!
Hahaha....seriously though...if she tries a couple of times and doesn't like it...she doesn't have to run all the runs...

Just have her run the whole event.
As said before, the insurance policy doesn't allow for just fun runs.

Weully understand, what we figured. She just doesn’t want to drive when everyone is watching her lol. Particularly I just want her to be a better driver .......... and see maybe if she catches the bug as well.

Tell her to come down and take a few rides in different cars. Thats a good way to get someone interested and eager to get behind the wheel.
There is nothing to be embarassed about, going slow your first, second, or even 30th time is ok. I've been schooled by Martin, Jason, etc in my own car and I've schooled others in their cars. Its all fun... seriously...

She just doesn’t want to drive when everyone is watching her lol.
We can all turn around when she runs. :P 'cept for the corner workers, of course.

I dont think shell budge yet. Maybe when its zero degrees outside, light dusting of snow, and a crowd of maybe 15 max she might consider. Otherwise she needs a few more events under her spectating belt.
But I will always keep trying till she gives in lol.

So if she registers for the event, pays for the event, then doesn't run any of her runs, she can't do fun runs?
Not arguing, just curious.

Yes Troy, as long as she is in the system as a "paying" customer then it's no problem. The key is she has to be a "driver" in the event, not a spectator.
