I need autocross tires bad. Hopefully Ill have new ones this event or the next. But I have a few questions you tire gurus could possible help clear up for me. Remember I am in SM class, but I would like to stay away from stickys for more than one reason, I feel I am not worthy yet (wont use them to their potential, abuse them), and to spare even more abuse on my drivetrain and the ill-famous Honda automatic transmission!!!! Im still a newbie folks.

1st: Is it a smart idea to run say super sticky street tires (hankooks rs2 or azenis) up front only with my thinner all-seasons in the rear? To induce over steer, or would this cause me to loose control?

2nd: Tire width vs. Small overall diameter? Or both?

3rd: 15’s or 16’s? Both about 12-14 lbs.

Don't have different type tires front and back. They will cause far more problems than anything. And getting your car to rotate should not be a problem, put the smallest front sway bar or remove it and put a big rear bar. (Be warned though, that will cause the rear end to step out quite drastically.)

I would go with 15s, they are smaller and hence lighter and will provide slightly better gearing. The 15s for the Azenis are only 205s, but you can get the RS2s in 225. The drawback of the RS2 is they are 1/2 second slower than the Azenis. But, the Azenis have little rain traction and wear faster.

Go with some 205/50/15 Azenis, they will be better than what you have currently but in SM you really do need the real deal. The other thought, depending on your finances, is to buy a dedicated autox car. You can pick up a CRX in decent shape for $1200 - $1500. It really depends on how serious you get.
