In honor of MTV's 25 -year anniversary this month, VHIClassic today is showing MTV's first day of programming.

Did you guys know that back in the day MTV actually used to show *gasp* music videos? :shock:

I thought maybe that was a long-lost myth of my childhood. :lol:

I'm old (turning 33 tomorrow)..I remember when MTV first aired.
Duran Duran, flock of seagulls, blondie and Loverboy videos were all that were on.
And yes, a 24 hr. music video channel WAS very cool. I haven't watched MTV for over 10 years...when they started putting on "shows" instead of real videos.
I shoulda put on VH1 for a flashback..

Heh. My "I feel old" moment today was seeing something on ESPN about the incoming group for the NFL Hall of Fame, and it includes guys who I remember getting drafted! :shock:

But at least I'm still (a little) younger than Davis. :P
