To whom have knowledge in such, what will I need to do to have them fit?
Specifically what offset for the wheels should I aim for?
Are there any problems I may encounter doing so?
They are 225/50/15s btw

Mike, this will probably end up being a trial and error sort of fitment. I am certain you know hondatech.com....might find a lot of good info there in one of the racing or autocross forums. You can even calculate offset yourself. Let me know if you need help with this. Here is a link that might be of interest.

PS: I am assuming you're still looking for a set of wheels correct? Any ideas about what you want? I know lots of guys are going with Kosei wheels...lightweight and fairly cheap. (Dymond racing wheels might be another good option)

Well from information gatherd from various resources it seems that I may have rubbing problems in the rear with a 225 tires. Most people suggest geting a narrower tire, however at this moment I dont see that as an option. Therefore they suggest I get a smaller offest wheel for the rear, and they also suggest a higher offset up front. Ideally >40 up front and about 35 in the rear. I have a few wheel options im looking into, however I wanted to run it by you guys and make sure I wouldnt be making a mistake running this setup. Thanks guys.

If you go with smaller tires in the rear it'll make the car feel a little less front wheel drivey. I plan on going with some toyo ra-1s with 225's up front and 205's out back on my fourth gen civic, once I have suspension that will keep the body off the tires, but if you can make them fit in the back also that'd be pretty neat

from the research i have done, a lot of people that have civics run 225s up front and 205s in the rear

If you need to run the higher offset in the rear, and easy fix is to buy both wheels with the higher offset (40mm), and just put spacers in the front to make them stick out as if they were 35mm offset. Fender roling is also a pretty easy option if you must have 225mm wide tire. Were did you find anything good in that size? I can't find any decent tires that wide with that low profile for ST use, they are all slicks and racing tires.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Unfortunitly its going to be longer before I purchase wheels for the stickies. I need some daily tires bad, and this past snow storm exemplified that.
I know its going to be a challenge. Another option is to run a narrower wheel in the rear, that would give the rear tires the tendency to slip more.
But like Crash, I need to get my suspension under control. I.E. Sway bar
Nathan, these tires are Kumho ECSTA V710s, competition tires, stickies.
A quick search on tirerack, and tires.com show theres a few 225/50 street tires out there. If your looking for something more competitive Hankook has their Ventus RS-2s in a 225/45/16, but I dont know what your limits are in ST
