Hey,
Anybody want to do a trailer cleanout Saturday? I would be happy to work on it but would love help of someone who knows what all the stuff is? If we need a place to do it, we can use my place (or anywhere else if someone has a better idea).
We might as well stop putting it off and just do it.
Any takers?

We can help for a while. I'm not sure how to get it to your house, nor who has the keys.

Yeah, who has some keys??
Any other takers? Troy, what time(s) would you all be able to do it? I'm a loser and have all day free. I have a TV in my garage for those that must not miss any sports action...

I think I heard April telling someone we'd be in Teays Valley for a little while on Saturday, so I'm not sure, but we could probably work around any schedule we need to, sso just let us know. If it ends up being just us coming over, we'll work it out between now and then. I think our phone numbers are still on the list on here..?

Do you think it would be better to clean it out before the event on Sunday or wait til after the event to clean it out?
Are there no other takers because it's too short notice or because AutoX related things would take up your whole weekend? Would there be more people willing to jump in next Saturday?

Probably better to wait untill after this Sunday.. more time to get things organized and more people will be able to make it out for the cleaning fun!!

I will not be in town next Saturday although you guys can still do it... Then the following Sat is the rallycross....could we possibly wait till it warms up a bit? Just an idea...

I just have a feeling that if we wait, it might not get down (i.e. last year). I'm sure we can find a couple people to help out. I can just put it in my garage and crank up the heat and watch TV. Shoot, if it takes me a week hanging out in my garage, that's fine with me...I like hanging out in the garage :D

OK, so how do I get the keys to the trailer?
I am working on finding a truck to borrow to tow it (or if there are any volunteers out there...) to my house.
As soon as I get keys and tow vehicle, I will try to back it in my garage, crank up the heat and start sorting. If anybody feels like stopping by on an evening or whatever, feel free.
I figure I will do a cone count while I'm at it and sort the battered cones from the good ones so the club has an idea of how many we might need to get.
Any estimate on how much the trailer weighs?

Caleb, Try calling Joe, I think he still has the keys. I think this Sat and Sun should be good if you're available. If there are more of us it should not take that long to sort and clean...
The only plan so far is skiing on Saturday afternoon...

I think for right now we'll keep most of the cones...maybe comeApril or May we'll purchase a few new ones and then maybe, just maybe you can have the old ones Naomi... You can come to the meeting and make your proposal...

Mike, I have the keys now. What is your work schedule like? It would be cool if I could start on it this weekend.
If you'll be around tomorrow or Saturday morning, I can give you a call and meet up.
P.S. my neighborhood has a big hill to go up and down...in case that matters for towing

With a big thanks to Mike Hall, the trailer is securely in my garage. I will start pulling stuff out tomorrow and spreading it around my garage floor and try to see how to get it better organized. I think Martin (and maybe Miro?) are coming over Sunday to sort through some of the stuff. I'll have a propane heater going so it's not as cold, but if you stop by you'll probably still want to wear a fleece or a jacket.
Hopefully we can get another volunteer or two at tonights meeting.

Thanks, everybody, for bringing some order to that chaos. I'll do my best to restore the chaos at the end of the February event!
