Want to know what you car weighs? Want to know what the cross weights and weight bias are on your car? Do you want to maximize the handling and balance of your car? If you have answered yes to any of these questions you should come to this..
We'll only charge $25 for any SWVR members. (this normally costs upwards of $50!) All money collected goes to Robbie Nelson who owns the scales and has graciously allowed us to use them. People are welcome to scale and adjust as necessary. I will be building proper ramps so the process is accurate and consistent. We have plenty of tools for adjustments, all you need is your car. You MUST RSVP before Oct. 8th, I want to make sure people have time to do things properly and are not rushed. We'll have a cookout at the same time, you are welcome to bring snacks and beverages. We'll have hot dogs and hamburgers most likely. Please post here if you are planning on attending. I will have the tire changer available also, let me know if anyone needs any tires mounted. In addition to that service, I'll try to have the other bay setup for alignment. I'll be offering free check (camber, caster and toe). Again, thank you Robbie for allowing us to make this possible. Limit for the day will be 8, please RSVP asap and please, please, please let me know if you cannot make it after signing up so others can take your spot. If we have more interest I'll do this again soon.

Martin, I just looked at my calendar. Can we move the date up a week? My wife and kids will be out of town that week, so it works better for me. It's the day before the next autocross. So everyone can use the day to tweak their cars for the autocross the next day. Thoughts?

I'm free either weekend. And no, the Neon doesn't have coilovers. It has the fully adjustable yellow Konis. And I've had it aligned, but it lasts 1 event then its back out again. It also has an adjustable rear sway bar (22-24mm).

This is a REALLY GOOD idea.. I'm hopin to have my suspension swapped on the Mazda by then. I'll let ya know soon as I can if I can come.... If not I'll definately hit up the next one!

My Neon shot a spark plug up out of the head & stripped it out...my brother has the car & hasn't had time to put the helicore in it & I'm afraid he won't have it put in by Sat. I don't want to hold up a spot as they are so limited.

Well, it's was just Scott and I really. I didn't even get to put the car on the scales on Sat.as it was not ready till yesterday. And it really showed why the car acted funny at the last event....let's just say we were wayyyy off on the cros weights. Hope we can do another party sometime in the spring perhaps? I bet it would help 80% of our autocrossers, cross weight are quite important...
The scales are still setup and Miro is coming tonight to get his car checked. I have been very careful with them Robbie and we really appreciate you letting us use them. Can we bring the scales to the event on Sunday? Again, thanks a bunch!!!!
