I can;t vie the pictures yet but sounds like you'll have some extra width to play with next year... Did you happen to test fit the wheels also? Just curious about the offset issues...

Edit: My rims are 9 inches wide....

Fender rub... a wee bit of hammering can fix that.

ruh oh!

Great pics Robbie.
Thanks for the data on the tires too, very informative.

Santa, where are you!

Hopefully Davis has been naughty this year so Santa won't bring any tires for him... :poke:

I don't think the new 275's will fit very well on your stock 8" wide rims.

Sorry bout requiring registration to view the attachements. I changed it to allow guests to view pics/attachements. ...again, sorry.

I approved those who registered. We had a vast influx of spammers last month and had to turn on moderated registrations.

Apparently there are guys running the national events in AS with this setup. I'm going to give it a shot.

Looks like the tires fit just fine, maybe not optimal setup but certainly worth trying out...;) If you run enough camber and low enough pressures the setup should work great.

Jason N: Did you fix the lifter? Looking forward to see you run your usual top times...;)

I think I can fit it without taking the heads off the block.

The exhaust valve spring failed, causing the valve to stay closed, which caused the burnt gases leak back into the lower intake manifold, in turn poisoning the nearby cylinders. Trying to find the time to work on it now. It looks like the valve itself is fine, didn't slip into the piston. Having a problem getting the keeper (lock) to stay in place on the valve down stroke. Hopefully I'll get it ready for Jan 21. See everyone there.
