I picked up a Mazdaspeed Miata 2004 59K miles. DD now but possibly an AutoX toy in the future.

I was looking at possibly changing the gear ratio from the stock 4.10 to 3.63 but I do not have the experience or knowledge to swap diff gears.

At some point I will need:
A timing belt service;
remove foam from the seat to allow me a little more room
Looking at having cruise and an aux jack installed.

I'm sure everyone has seen "Tommy Boy" . The seen of farley doing " Fat guy in a little coat" is like me putting the car on.

I am starting the process of looking for a set of 4x100 15" OEM wheels and a spare seat to modify.

Any thoughts?

Put an aluminum race seat in it (they make 'em big ;) ). You'll gain lots of room, Jim Pryce had some in his old miata and 'bout needed a phone book to sit on.

Rich, depending on when you need it I can help. I have worked on a few of these including Rob Godbey's car. I am in the middle of building our SSM MR2 right now so time is limited. If you can wait for a bit i can help, just let me know anytime. M.

Nice looking car. Timing belts aren't too bad on these. I have a wrecked 94 and while the seats are different some of the cruise bits may work.

Anyone know where a set of 15" 4x100 wheels might be? I would prefer to use 15" for DD.

What is the difference in the NA and NB seats? I'm coming to Huntington this weekend. Give me a shout canker.
