You can thank Subaru and Mitsubishi for the WRC leaving SpeedTV.

Why?

Mitsubishi is in a world of hurt right now in the motor sports area, other than Dakar they are not focusing on anything until 2008. So that left Subaru as the only other player in the market who has a street car based on the WRC car to pay for WRC coverage. You may ask why not Ford, well why should Ford care. Their WRC car isn't even sold here in the US. The other makes like Citroen, well same thing I don't think I can walk into a Citroen dealer unless I am dreaming. Subaru decided well we won't pay for it this year, and SpeedTV went see ya bye don't let the door hit ya on the way out.
