Anyone have a Honda crank pulley tool (the hex one) available for loan? Call, email, telegraph, whatever - needed ASAP!

Did you try autoparts stores. They should have tool for rent.

Matt, I usually just take off the backing plate by the flywheel and bolt a piece of steel between the flywheel and the trans casing.... or you can try to make one, here is the link:

When I took mine off, I just used my impact wrench. The bolt should only be torqued to about 130ft/lbs. If you try just using a socket/breaker bar, you could probably just put it in gear and have someone hold the brake down. I would try those methods before you buy the special tool or if you can't find someone with one. ;)
