I am finally going to shell out the money for sitckies, but I don't know which ones I want to buy. I have it narowed down to the falken azenis rt 615s and the hankook ventus rs2 z212s. Anybody know the pros or cons of either of these tires?

I think this is the first poll on the forum, Congrats!
My vote is for the 615's, discount tires had a decent price the last time I checked that may be less than the Hankooks on some sizes.
I had 215's and loved them to death, or well to the cords.
As soon as the car is fixed and I can score some over time or sell a body part I will be getting some 615's.

I'd just get which ever one is cheapest for the size you want... When i was tryin to figure out which tire i wanted that was my deciding factor.

If you really want tires get the 615s. Be warned though, they are prone to grip loss in heat so you will have to keep them cool. This is a problem the Kooks don't have, albeit being a little slower.
But, seat time will get you faster than any tires will.

Nah, those are semi-stickies - they still have a tread pattern on 'em! :P
My Kumho fixation prevents me from voting in the poll . . .

Technically their competition street tires .....
But I agree withs John, get whatever is cheapest for your size.
Or be cool and purchase 2 tires of both ......
Im biased towards Hankooks cuz I had their Ventus HR II, so Ill vote for them, plus their usually cheaper anyways.

Check out the tread width on them and stuff, they vary quite abit from size to size and brand to brand. IIRC, my Azenis were smaller than the same size 'Kooks, and still cost about $40 more per set. I am in love with April's Hankook Z212's. If they're cheaper than the Azenis, just get the 'Kooks. I kind of wish that I had. The Hankooks also have a higher traction rating, which, in reality, means that they stopped in a shorter distance in wet conditions. Not that important, but if they're almost equal in other aspects, it's definitely a bonus. April's had them for something like 15 events and a skidpad school, where I was runnin on them, too. She also drives on them to and from work every day now lol.

i have the falken's..
they are not really stickies..
i see that above..
they are really good street tires that stick better than most..
i like them better than the bridgestone potenza 's that came on my honda..
i can't speak for the hankooks.. but i have heard good things about them.
you will enjoy them..
