Here's the rumor... looks like i'll be running AS.

ITEM 13) Move models currently in BS into CS, merging the two classes. Move models currently in AS into BS. Move various models into AS. The results of this group of changes will be as follows:

run differnet wheels or install a mod, like, cold air box, short throw shifter or something and run ASP.

I plan to run C5 z06 rear wheels to be able to buy used 18" rear tires, which will bump me to ASP

I am trying to talk jack into ASP as well.

Yeah, was thinking of doing that, but I'll probably keep it stock. I hope to make one of the pro solos next year (MD or OH), so I'm trying to figure out which class I would not finish DFL in, if either.

Or............pick up an '02-'04 Z06 in the spring and stay in SS. You came within a smidge of winning SS in November in a base Vette. I think you'd be very competitive in a Z - definately nowhere near DFL.

Or a move to BS without any Z06s to contend with sounds pretty good too. Lower it on the stock bolts, get an aggressive alignment, and with the Hoosiers I'd bet you be very competitive in BS.

Or do the same is SS with a Z.....no bad choices here!

Thanks Jerry. I think I'm going to hold off on the Z though. T and I are still on the steep side of the learning curve so I thought we'd kick around the ol 98 for another season... or until we see lots-o-smoke in the rearview.
