Anyone travels to Bluefield WV?

I am trying to look into Mitchel Stadium in Bluefield WV as one of our venues. It's quite far but it would be an option at just over 100 miles... Does anyone go there sometime? I'd like to know what the lot looks like and what the condition of it is. If not, would anyone be willing to drive down sometime?

This lot looks pretty good on google. We’ll be traveling through Bluefield at the end of the month… I’ll check it out.

While we’re on this subject, I plan on contacting the airport manager at Huntington again in February as his initial reply sounded promising. I also received a reply from the manager at Raleigh County Memorial, but he had to decline citing heavy corporate traffic operating 24/7 on their secondary runway.

Update… the lot looked good, but not great. The surface appears to be much less abrasive than RHS, but as you can see in the pics, there are some cracks. The west lot is about 250,000 square ft, twice the size of the east lot and roughly twice that of RHS. The only two obstructions are two light poles near the center.

Thanks for the pics!!! Twice the size of RHS is a good thing!! We will be discussing lots at the January Meeting (at the Vehige house).
