Well as most know the mustang is history and has found a new home in the Chicago Region with new owner John Bryan Moore. He picked it up the weekend before the Parkersburg event and actually raced it in a double event the next weekend. He sold his FMod and went to Cprepared.

After the weekend of racing he got a base of what he needed to do to make it nationally competitive. Luckily it wasnt much but some fine tuning, larger tires, and getting used to driving a heavier and more powerful car. He's going to put 275/40/17 710's then install 16x10 wheels and 23.5x11.5x16 race slicks and flare and roll the fenders more.

I'm really anxious to see how it does at nationals next year. He said he would keep me posted on what and how its doing. By the way the national champ Darrell Padberg runs frequently in his region so he and the car will be tested regularly. Everyone out there loved the car so that makes me feel good.

If John bought the car and was pleased with how it was built then it speaks volumes about the car... I know John (through reputation only) and he is hard to impress!!

He really seems to know alot, in which he should. Been around for a long time. He emailed me recently with a short list of improvenment:
1. Maximum Motorsports extreme duty rear control arms
2. Bigger tires
3. Maximum Motorsports front coilver with 425lb springs
4. a little shock tuning

Other than that it is pretty settled he just wants to take a little more body roll out of it and bigger tires to match the motor.

Yes i am very pleased that he feels comfort with the car it makes me feel good about the work my dad and I put into it. But honestly i'm glad its gone. I dont feel this ongoing urge to make it better, I have been really relaxed and been able to concentrate on other things. We only made it out to one race this year but it was probably my funnest event to date. Getting FTD (for a short while) really felt good. Now I know how the fast guys feel every weekend. You'll all have fun. Maybe I could take a ride in your new racer Jason.
