Just wanted to thank Brain's Dad and his Friend Dave for all the help Tuesday night putting a new top end in my Motor...
we had the old piston out in no time and Dave took his time on the new ring and piston circlips... Started her up and all seemed well.. except for the fact my water pump was leaking like crazy!! Lucky for me I had a new spare aluminum Wild Kart water pump and the appropriate axle pully and belts in my stash of spares.. Brian and his dad put that on (htey had to rearange the water hoses too) while I put some new Carbon Fiber Reeds on.. the new reeds are aranged per instructions from the motor importer so I may even gain a little power from that change and of course the new ring will help keep the motor at it's full potential!! In total we put in a new piston, new ring, new upper rod bearing, piston pin, circlips, waterpump, and intake reeds...The initial break in is done.. Now I either need to run it up and down my street or just run it around the pits before the event in Columbus this weekend. I will probably take the second option.

BTW the old piston and ring were in good shape so my tuning skills seem to be developing nicely!!
