I have a video question that someone here may be able to answer. My daughter has been appointed camera person for her school's ROTC events. The camera they have uses VHS-C tapes. Is there a way to transfer those to a digital format that she can use on the computer to edit the material. We found a way to copy the last event to a DVD, but we still could not edit, just ad some music, and make copies for the students.

You can buy a video capture device that supports a/v inputs, assuming that the camera has a/v output. The Dazzle DVC 90 or DVC 150 would work, as I've had both, but they're frustrating. You may want to see what else you can find.

By the way Troy, I need to get your video lens adapter back...can you call me when you get a chance? I'll bring it wherever! Can't believe Miro forgot to bring it to the last event...

Frustrating....just my luck. Is there possibly a video shop that could do this for me?

Absolutely. I'm not sure who, but I think it's a pretty common procedure nowadays. Someone on here may be able to do it. I would, but the computer is at my parents' house and I never get time to stay there long enought o do anything, hence the reason I've made 1 video in like 4 months.
