I need a shop, I got the money for the engine... I have a 20$ wrench set and a 15$ socket set as far as tools go.. so I'm not so sure I could swap an engine with those.

Gill's Automotive in Teays Valley is a Subaru trained mechanic/tech. It who I use especially with my wife's Subie.

You in Motown or Charleston?

I highly suggest you not get anything fixed in Morgantown...

EVER.

My favorite story involves a $1,600 bill....and after I paid it...and it still didn't work...the $80 part they should have used...made the car run!

So go anywhere OUTSIDE of Morgantown. So I think I've narrowed it down for you..right?

I was hoping for a shop nearby morgantown, but not actually in it. I know all the shops here are going to charge crazy amount of cash, and with good reason.

Fairmont, prehaps?

try Kar's auto in fairmont...367-9661, not sure if that number is right but they replaced a headgasket on my saab back in the day and did really good work. they are rough around the edges like any shop, but they are smarter than they look about cars.

So, I'm not doing the H6 because I've simply ran out of time.
I give up and go to try to get a replacement engine, they shop says they dont do headgaskets....the weak link on the 2.5, they say they dont do them.

I need a running car in the next two weeks. This is ridiculous.

Pay the money to haul it somewhere that does a lot of Subaru swaps. It wouldn't take long if they're experienced.
