VIO POV.1 video camera

Our friend Jon got one of these for the last MARRS race. Very spiffy system, only draw back is the sound but you can plug in an external mic. It uses a bullet cam set up, and has a remote, so no 5 minutes of warmup laps.

I'll probably end up buying one over winter. Very handy setup IMHO.

Check out these POV cameras...they're cheap, and appear to be decent. The motorsports wide camera says 56 minutes of 5 megapixel video and it's waterproof up to 100'

**may wanna check Youtube or somewhere for sample videos before purchasing. I haven't, so they may suck...

Actually, the sample videos that they have on this site are pretty good for such a cheap camera. It doesn't seem to like low light. Also, I'm not sure if those are full-resolution video, which should be 512x384, not 5 mp like the other site says. The 5 mp is for still photos only.

GoPro is not a bullet cam, the whole thing with the VIO is you can use it anywhere and seems to be a good competitor for ChaseCam.
