I came up to a stoplight this afternoon in Huntington and this beauty was in front of me.

The beauty is not showing up...or is it just my old computer maybe?

Honestly, I was surprised by that, too. :)

Nice catch, I never get tired of seeing one. I just got bak from LA today, saw a couple of nice cars. I got to see a Audi R8 at speed. I was not a big fan but seeing it weave through LA traffic, WOW.

The R8 does look strangely proportioned from some angles in pictures. I finally got to see two at an HPDE at Nelson Ledges in August. One was driving, and the other showed up to watch for a bit. They're stunning in person--great presence.

The interior switchwork is great looking as well.

The guy driving hadn't done many track events, so he was taking it easy. I thought the exhaust note was pretty subdued, however. I've read all about how they shortened the exhaust versus the RS 4, so I was expecting...well more, I guess. It sounded good, just relatively quietly good, if that makes sense.

Yeah I saw one at Mid-Ohio this year. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car in person. It reminds me of a Henkel knife, pure precision. But yesterday I got the full on experience seeing it compared to other cars. Low, fast and surgical. I get it now.

No, I was agreeing with you. It may take seeing one in person to really appreciate it. : )

I agree. Also, if you get a chance to see the Top Gear episode it helps. The selling point to me was seeing it beside all other normal cars, that drove it home. So I think we are saying the same thing only different.

I just saw the Ferrari as I was driving into work.
