I'm going to run the TT on street tires in november. I looked through the rulebook and it looks like the TT (1.8) will fit into STX. while i know STX allows suspension changes i couldn't determine if coilovers are allowed. normally a CSP car.

mods:
coilovers, rsb, ecu, cai, catback

stock turbo, stock internals. :drink:

From the sounds of the rules you should be just fine Nate. You're using all stock spindles and such so coilover setup by itself is perfectly legal IMHO... Plus you can alway go to STU if in doubt...

Is the kart done for the winter?

thanks martin. not really a big deal. i might just keep it in CSP.

yes, it's done, i need to put a new ring in it. i drained the fuel and also filled the cooling system with antifreeze. I hope to get the bottom end refreshed this winter... it's probably a bit loose after almost 10 years. i'm doubting it's ever been rebuilt.

Hmm, here's the applicable line from the rulebook for STS:

- Audi A4 1.8T and TT (Coupe and Roadster), non-Quattro

Your TT is AWD, right Nate? Looks like that would kick it to STX.

I thought STX did not allow boost changes other than "boost creep" or did they change that.....
