I just purchased a fellow members car, Ed Combs 95gt. Its been ran in Emod, does the supercharger put it there? I looked at some other nationals cars in Emod and and cant really compare with them.
If it wasnt for the supercharger it would be in C prepared.

For one the car is E-Mod Legal... but you could also run it in X-Prepared. Street Mod may be an option but I am not sure if it is over the displacement limit for forced induction.. Martin should be up to speed on the SM rules and I am sure he will chime in. XP is as I understand it is the prepared class for engine swaps aka a LS1 in a Miata and Forced induction.
Glad to see the car will be in good hands!!

Marcell, I am fairly sure you can run the car in SM though your minimum weight will be 3100 (riles say that no car will weigh more than 3100 lbs)... What all has been done on the car? Here are the basics... Any ford motor, any supercharger/turbocharger, any exhaust, can't move inner suspension attachment poits, anything that moves up and down with suspension is fair game (spindles, steering arms etc), Any brakes.... you can have a fuel cell (5 gal minimum)...etc. Let me know if you have anything specific you want to ask... Otherwise welcome to SM! :f1: (although I ammost likely leaving to ES next year...(or CSP if no one is in ES)...

It will definately stay over 3100 lbs with all the creature comforts.
Prior to me it had Eibach Pro springs, yellow Konis, welded subframes, supercharger, upgraded t-body and mass air unit, shifter and headers. Currently its getting an offroad h-pipe, catback exhaust, and a tune up and brake job.
Next year plans are for a panhard bar, caster camber plates, 17x9 wheels with 275/40/17's, and 13" brakes front and rear. I'd like to send off the supercharger and get it rebuilt and upgraded, maybe next winter.
Hoping to get to a few opentracks next year.

Welded subframes are illegal in SM but for local competition you'll be more than fine... I have aluminum bushings in my rear subframe which is pretty much like welded subframe so for local competition there is not much of a difference between welded and solid bushings IMO...(FYI any bushing material is allowed as long as they are not offset).
