Check it out :D I am in S3 magazine too but I do not have a copy of the issue yet. Hyundai informed me today that I may be in an upcoming issue of Import Tuner as well. My car is the red one with the green front plate and that is my engine on the left. On the 2nd page the red car on the track is mine and that is me in the grey shirt.

I won the speed challenge, ran a 12.6 in the 1/4 mile stopbox and a 23.93 in the slalom trial.

Awesome. That's a heck of a 1/4 time in a FWD car. As we've said before, bring it out to autocross.

Yeah, thats a VERY good 1/4 time period.
The fact that its fwd makes it sweeter.

Screw the magazine.

What's that? Is that just a fancy term for drag time? If so - wow!

Not only do you have to run the straight fast but you have to stop in a 30' box. If you stop too soon they disqualify you. If you stop too far you get seconds added to your time for each foot you go over. I loved it, it made it very challenging. You had to have both very good brakes and make good power.

Over 400 cars competed that weekend and I had the 2nd fastest stopbox time of all the classes and took 1st in my class. I was really happy with it.

I had horrible tires though and it hurt me in the slalom. (kumho 711 and nankings, lol) It was a shame too because I have several suspension mods.

-H&R lowering springs
-Front and rear strut bars
-Progress rear sway bar and upgraded bushings
-traction bars

Next year I am going with drag radials in the front. What rear tires would you recomend? I have my eye on some Hankook R-s2 Z212 tires. I had K104's a while back and loved them.
