Well I have some good and Bad news.
Yesterday while sitting in the Turn lane on Rt. 60 in Huntington, A Ford Escape drifted and side swipped my WRX. The good thing is it was his fault, but the bad part is I just got it back Friday.
Im trying to upload pics to my computer, but am unaware as to how to post them.
P.S.- I need a ride next week also.

Don't buy new cars - value drops instantly. Plenty of low miles used cars out there with warranties and all that someone else has taken the depriciation on. I've heard that you can even get a Porsche for as little as 4K.......... :D .

I agree with Scott... let someone else take the depreciation.
What sort of car are you looking for?

Well I was refering to a new car to me. I shall never by a "new" car.
As for damage, I could only get my head so far but it looks like the tie rod and swaybar may be bent. The Rim os slightly bend and was pushed back about 2 inches. bumber, DS fender and frint door w/mirror.
This is the 3rd accident this car has been in this past year almost to the day. + the block being replaced. 12months owned, 4months of driving

Sh*t happens... I know its easy to say... its still only a car.
In a span of 3 months I went from having a spiffy looking Accord to where it stands now. (T boned, got that fixed and 2 months later got run off the road... only 1 door on that car is original.)

I remember thinking that Subarus were cursed for a week when Aaron and Thomas both lost their WRX's, but now I'm thinking they both just have bad luck.

Though it's depressing to finally see it, it's not that bad really. The suspension stuff might get expensive, but you may be able to either DIY and have insurance money left over, or just upgrade the parts.

the other persons insurance should cover it and it should be fixed for free.

ewww...it looks like the wheel is pushed way back, which will probably get into a good deal more than a damaged A-Arm. I'd wait and see what the estimate for repair ends up being, but I'd be suprised for possible frame damage. Sorry that it happened. I know you just got it back on the road.
What motor did you end up with by the way?
