miata in the garage

well.. i wasn't even shopping for a car.. but. a salesman i know contacted me yesterday with a buddy of his that had all his bank accounts seized for 20 year old child support from the commonwealth of VA . they say he is 50k in arrears.. dang..
poor guy was so angry. his kids are 34 and 30 they just caught up with him.. he says he has all receipts and he is right.. they say he must pay the full 50 k then he gets a hearing.. genuinely a nice guy.
so
he was unloading everything. .needless to say i got a GREAT deal on a 2000 emerald green with tan top and leather miata LS .. limited slip and sport susp.
the car has a few scratches.. but overall very nice. my s2000 lease is up in august but i wasnt even looking for a car. did the deal in 1 hour and he was down the road..

i am at the beach .. but will post some pix when i get home.
my daughter cassie.. doesnt even know. she just got her learners and is in love with my mini cooper.. but i think we will both autocross when she gets her license .
i have been busy and out of the loop.. but hope to get back into it this summer

what do i need to do to the miata to auto x and keep it a good street car..

Yea! Another competitor in C stock. About all you can do to your Miata is get some sticky tires and upgrade your front swaybar to stay in stock class. I just installed a Racing Beat sway bar in my car and it improved the handling tremendously.
