Remember kids, from the lowest rungs of local autocross to the heights of the motorports world, the first rule is look ahead. Ask Lewis Hamilton. http://img480.imageshack.us/img480/1662/doh4jw.gif

Congrats to the BWM kids, tho'. I saw an 850 out (for a celebratory hibatchi outing, apparently) this evening. Very nice!

My Suddenlink DVR missed the race due to it not being on Speed. :frown:

Yup, Canada was one of three on Fox (including France next up). I think TiVo will season pass the same show across networks, but I can't remember.

Crazy race today, to say the least. Congrats to BMW, and to Coulthard. Kimi was guilty of a similar incident in the last race, but not on pit lane. Hamilton and Rosberg will both be penalized 10 grid positions at the next race, although Rosberg's involvement in the collision may have been unavoidable.

Speaking of looking ahead, I had to go shoot video at yet another horrible accident today, this time on Sissonville Drive. Some guy was goin 100-120 on Rt. 21 when he came up on a car in his lane turning left. He tried to pass her on the left, but side-swiped her and knocked her car approx. 110 feet, while he slid and hit a truck beside the road and continued to slide into 2 more trucks in a parking lot. Supposedly, he got out of the truck proclaiming he was only going 50, asking for a phone to call his mom from. Well, long story short, the innocent woman he slammed into died this evening in the hospital. I'm sure he thought he was in a hurry, or that he was late for something, but now he's a murderer. I constantly fly around in my WCHS/WVAH Subaru Forester, not thinking enough about those around me whose lives are also in my hands. Hopefully this changes that.:frown:

The crappy part is that I watched practice and qualli on Speed. Then on Sunday, they wifey says "let's take the kids to the pool." Of course, I want the be the good father and I think "I'll watch the race tonight while enjoying a frosty brew." CURSE YOU Suddenlink DVR!

The France race will be early in the morning. That doesn't make a lot of sense. Guess they have to make up for the non-existent USGP! I'll have to remember to schedule it on the DVR.

Tape delay, I'm sure. I appreciate that Fox wants to spread its broadcast motorsports coverage out a bit (they did the first hour or so of the 24 Hours of Daytona, too), but it does seem a bit pointless for the Euro races.

NP: France 0 - Romania 0 (Euro 08, while I get my A/C fixed. :headbutt: )
