I saw a bunch of familiar names on the entry list for the SCR event in Washington on Sunday - who all's gonna' make it? Anybody else going for the "street tire challenge" or whatever they call it?

I'm not driving, but Martin is taking his Celica and I'm going to be in videography duties overe there.

I signed up, but will not be able to go after all. We will be in Pittsburgh with my boys for Mothers' Day.

Roy and I will be there, Johnny too. We got the CRX back on the road, few more things to take care off before the event.

Street tire shootout is fun, it will be the largest class... 20+ cars at the last event. I ran it for a year and the competition is pretty darn good.

I dunno. NWS is saying showers after 3pm, so maybe we'll get lucky. As for the Cobalt, he wasn't in the street tire class last even, so I'm assuming he's on stickies. Which is a good excuse, if I need it. :biggrin:

Occasional rain in the PM...not too bad and hopefully we'll get lucky and have a dry autocross. Definitelly going for this one. Hope to see you guys there. :f1:

Crazy crazy day... to sum it all up, drove about 400 miles, spent about $70 in gas plus $25 entry fee....what did I get for all that? Well I took one, yes one very leasurely run around the course...and didnt complain about a thing except the rain of course...:partay:
Things were looking good during the second run group weather-wise but surely it had to start pouring right as I drive up to the start line during the forst runs of the third run group.... sooo, next time I am going to listen to my gut (and Sean...yes he said it was going to rain but I didn't want to listen...heh) and stay home, sleep in, do whatever else there is besides autocross...
Good day though, still had fun, no complaints...the course was owesome BTW! Can't wait for the Pitt. Vintage Garnd Prix autocross in July! Good to see Sean's car getting faster and faster! Keep it up guys!
