Well an interesting thing popped up sunday at Mercer. The airport lot down there was quite bumpy and there was 1 skid pad and 1 180 degree decresing radius turn. In these to turns the car bounce pretty badly to the point that I would lose grip on rebound. The problem was that when the car came back down it would pull the tire hard enough to to let air out around the bead (starting on 40 psi finishing at 33-35 psi in the front).

Now my question is will putting just koni's inserts on the front help or should i wait untill i can afford all 4 corners.

suspension before tires?
no front sway bar?

You can stay in stock class with certain inserts, just make sure if you still intend to be in stock class. (which I think your car is very good in)

eventually it will be a STS car but for now its still in the stock class (its got azenis RT-615's on it) and according to th b15 forum guys sway bars don't help it (solid beam rear end).

Can't change the rear bar in stock, but the big honkin' NISMO rear bar I had on my car (and is now on John Taylor's car) helped a little bit when I was in STS.

Konis will help a good bit... also a BIG front bar will help too... The "bounce" you experience is your front suspension bouncing off the Bump Stops... you loose grip B/C your front spring rate goes from stock to 1000 plus pounds in an instant!! shocks and a big bar will help keep the car off the bump stops.... stiffer springs and such will take care of the problem as long as the car is not over lowered... too low and no suspension travel is left making the problem much much worse!!

keep in mind a big front bar "can" take away understeer... how you ask!!

See as the front of the car leans you loose static negative camber. a big bar takes away lean leaving the front of the car with a better camber situation in the corners... resulting in more front grip..... With stock class limitations it is the best solution one can do!!

The plan is for all of us to meet at Beaver Saturday and chill out... you could leave in the morning and meet us at Beaver... it should be about 4 hrs from Charleston.

Get on 79N and stay on there, you will cross over onto 70W (also 79N) near Washington, PA and back onto 79N via exit 18 on 70W.

Get off at exit 77 on 79N

Get on 76W towards Youngstown, OH

Take exit 13 and then stay to the extreme right and you'll merge onto 18N.

Go through the first two traffic lights, and then go about another 1/2 mile and you'll see the sign to make a left onto BeaveRun.

OR...

Come to Morgantown and we can all caravan down together, we were hoping to leave for Beaver by 1PM from Morgantown on Saturday. Wes is also coming down with us... should be a fun little trip.
