Trying to find some pictures of the Recaro seat (trying to trade it to my friend Kyle for a pair of Corbeaus) I came across the pictures from when Marteen built the CRX.

Yeah 15.9 on a bone stock CRX on C50s, Giles did do a 15.1 on the dirt stockers with intake/header/exhaust.
I am pretty sure mine will run a 15 flat on the new setup.

15 flat? must be a light car for a stock d16.

Giles car was an 89 and I believe crossed the scales at a little over 1900 lbs.
Mine is right around 1850 lbs. Marteen and I know Matt Glagola who has one of the best prepped 88 STS2 CRXes and his car dynoed at a little over 110.
Also, my motor now has a AEM short ram, DC sport header, ST* legal cat, straight through exhaust. So its not quite a stock D16.

wow those are light!! Mine is right at 2400 with driver lol!! Im 223 so.. your car is light!! Then again mine is the heaviest 2nd gen CRX you can get and I weight it with everything Honda gave it full interior spare tire jack....
I have always respected this crx.... http://www.crxmotorsports.com/

That is Brian Robertson's yellow 88.
Mine has no spare, light weight battery, light weight seat, light weight wheels etc. Anything that can legally be removed was removed in the name of saving weight. There are still a few more things to do that cost more $$$. For instance I could lose another 12 lb from wheels by going with 9 lb Volks, instead of the 12 lb BBS'.

To clarify, weight is without driver.
Mine crosses the scales at around 2130 or so with driver (~170-180 lb for my sorry ass). My objective this year is to get it to 2100 with driver.

His EP car?
The CRX can be a fairly decent CSP or EP car, but that costs significantly more than a STS2 car. Heck my car is down on power compared to some of the other CRXes. I could spend a few grand having King Motorsport, Tom Blaney, Anthony Serra or someone else building me a full prep motor. Heck I am not even on the lightest wheels, again I can't justify $2k to save 12lbs.
Chris Shenenfield at one point did a budget sheet for a well prepped STS Civic, it came close to $12,000. Spend a few more grand and you could have a mid-front pack ITA car.
The pipe dream goal is to convert the car to ITA trim in the next 5 years, but realistically I don't have the funds to do it.
