So I am sitting next to my buddy's ITA car before the start of the race when two rice boys show up.

Rice boy 1: dude what motor does that have.
Me: LS
Rice boy 2: like an LS1?
Me: no like an Integra LS
Rice boy 1: so you guys got like turbos and stuff
Me: no the class is a step up from stock so its basically just bolt on stuff, no interior and safety equipment
Rice boy 2: (looks in and sees the fire bottle) hey man you run nitrous, what shot is it?
Me: um thats the fire bottle
Rice boy 1: so how fast does it go
Me: maybe 120 on a good day if we are lucky
Rice boy 2: (to Rice boy 1) haha dude your car is faster than that

I felt my brain cells die in that 2 minute conversation.

why do I keep hearing "huh-huh, huh-huh" ala' Beavis and Butthead when I read that dialogue? Jeez.. should have told him that you had shoehorned a ls2 in there...lol

Me: Yeah, three of them, all from skylines.
Rice boy 2: (looks in and sees the fire bottle) hey man you run nitrous, what shot is it?
Me: 1000, super compressed. Got it from Japan
Rice boy 1: so how fast does it go
Me: 200 in reverse on the highway, we havent tried to go forwards yet.
Rice boy 2: (to Rice boy 1) haha dude your car is faster than that
Me: Dude I will race you in the parking garage at 1:30!

Nothin wrong with a little bit of JDM, but JDM has been skewed with Fast and the Furious.

Real JDM on a properly done car is one thing, but ricers with Alenzza taillights and a fart can muffler is another story

You know, I've never understood why the heck it matters what country your parts come from..?

If Formula 1 is directly representative of country's automotive technology, well, Japan sucks lol. Kidding.

I saw something funny on car domain done to a 2nd gen camry where the guy got jdm altezza(IS 250) tail lights fixed to his camry. looks horrible!--and ridiculous-- doesnt even match the late 80's styling that I love so much! I don't see why people go nuts over jdm exterior stuff anyhow! and oh yeah, his body kit looked like it was fallin off
