I am adding a custom icebox to the intercooler, replacing the front valve cover with a red anodized one (or a black one with ghost flames) and there are new plug wires on it now that actually fit. I also upped the boost and I am now running around 280whp. The icebox should help me gain about 15 more whp.

If you feel like you have to change your valve cover, go for the red. I think it looks nice and clean as it is, though.

Are the plastic bits just for making the engine bay look more organized, or are there some other purpose? Like quietening road noise or anything? I've ripped most of mine off at this point but I was just curious if they're more than just looks.

yeah i need to give one of those a shot. i did pretty good at the triple crown tuner challenge at mid-ohio back in may. ;)

Most of us would not do so well in that event. Well, we'd do well in 1/3 of it.
