Yeah, Hotlanta was one of my first picks actually because of Matt....unfortunatelly I have to shoot a wedding on the 24th so unless that date changes I am out on that one. The rest of them are ON!!! We'll start planning the hotels and such once the schedule is finalized...

I have a buddy cert to use next year for bringing Philip to Nats. We outta both try and get a noob to any tour or Nats next year, helps the cost a lot as you get $25 off the entry fees.

Do it... red rex will be very well setup next year. Only question mark is what tires to run.

Throw some kookies on it and run it in CSP!!! :f1: That car is soooooo much fun on stickies...well I guess any car is...heh
SeanB

CSP locally would be fun, but nationally I would be outclassed.

That's what I meant....you want to have fun too, copetitiveness comes later...:partay: I just remember the rex being very easy to drive on the stickies and did I mention fun??? Just ask Nate , he is still talking about how much fun he had in the red wonder! I might end up buying you a set of tires for it and co-drive a few events....:f1:

Hey Phil, you're alive! You better come with us to some of the tours and pros!!!:f1: When are you putting some stickies on your car??? heh

If I don't sell the BBS' I might throw some stickies on them. Right now I am probably looking into getting some Falken Hanabi's next year. Thing is I am running out of space to store tires... summer tires for CRX, rain tires for CRX, race tires for CRX and if I get stickies I might have to line the tires up and sleep on them. The CRX would probably be even more fun on stickies now that I have the suspension sorted out.
Co-drives are always welcome in the CRX, I know Johnny wants to run it atleast at the local level. Car probably won't see daylight till atleast March as I don't want to drive it too much in winter.

For National tour/National noobs...
You get 3 runs per day, each day is a different course and the average entry free for a tour is $75 and $110 for Nationals.
I might be running the South Georgia event in February, might be renting a ride or if Marteen is running we might co-drive my car.
SeanB

Marteen's out for South Georgia in Feb. Anyone up for a co-drive in the CRX? I really don't want to drive 12 hours alone.

How and when do you think we'll know the registration details? I know I missed the registration last year...didn't it fill up in like a day?

I was planning on going to the DC pro and the Atlanta tour. Sean if you need a codriver for either let me know:biggrin:
SeanB
01-18-2008, 04:34 PM
Philip: you can co-drive either or both if you want. I will be on Bridgestones this year. If Johnny decides to run my car you can run it with the Hankook R Comps in CSP if you want.
Signing up for DC Pro: I am going to log into SCCA everyday starting in Feb to see if its open. If it is I'll call all interested parties. (I have Marteen and Philip's phone number so if anyone else wants that call let me know.) As Marteen said, DC Pro will be full in a day because its a very very very good event.

I thought I saw a blurb on one of the other forums I read (one of the Mazda forums, maybe), that registration is open for all the Tour and Pro events already. But I could be wrong.
